Mr. Muhammad Raza Iqbal Chairman, Sialkot Dry Port Trust

For more than forty years, Sialkot Dry Port Trust has done what its founders set out to do in 1984: bring customs clearance to the doorstep of the exporters and importers of Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat and the surrounding region. It was the first dry port in Asia to be set up in the private sector, and it is still run by the business community it serves.

The way trade moves has changed, and the port has changed with it. Goods declarations are filed online through WeBOC and the Pakistan Single Window, clearance is available 24 hours a day, and our customs-bonded fleet of more than a hundred vehicles is sealed, insured and tracked by satellite on every journey. Since 2025 the port has also been a TIR hub, opening a direct road route for Sialkot’s goods to Central Asia and Russia.

Our aim is simple: the quickest, safest and most economical route from a Sialkot factory to the buyer. We will keep investing in equipment, in digital services such as online bills and vehicle tracking, and in the people who handle our clients’ cargo day and night.

I invite the exporters and importers of the region to make full use of these facilities, and to tell us how we can serve them better. Together we can keep growing the trade of Sialkot and of Pakistan.
